Robot Vocal for macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel, macOS 11 or later)

This build is not signed by a registered Apple developer yet, so macOS blocks
it until the install script has run. Install it like this:

1. Unzip the download. You get a folder with Robot Vocal.vst3,
Robot Vocal.component, install.command and this file.
2. Open Terminal (Applications > Utilities > Terminal).
3. Type "bash " (with the space), drag install.command from the folder into
the Terminal window, and press Return.
4. Start Ableton Live 12. In Settings > Plug-Ins, turn on "Use VST3 Plug-In
System Folders" and, for the Audio Unit, "Use Audio Units" if they are
off, and press Rescan if Robot Vocal does not show up under Plug-Ins.

RobotVocal-Manual.pdf explains every page of the plug-in.

To check that it works in Live 12:

1. Put Robot Vocal on a MIDI track. The panel opens with four lines of lyrics.
2. Press PREVIEW while Live stands still: the lyrics rap over an example beat.
3. Drag the amber DRAG MIDI CLIP key into the arrangement and play: every line
comes on its bar, the first one with "I" just before the bar line.
4. On the VOICE page, choose the ESPEAK NG bank and a voice: it has to sound,
since those voices read their data from inside the plug-in.
5. Drag DRAG AUDIO (OUT page) onto an audio track: a WAV of the song.

To remove it, delete Robot Vocal.vst3 from ~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3 and
Robot Vocal.component from ~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components.
